Incidentally(?) coinciding with the winter solstice, the darkest day of the year (in Sweden at least), December 21 marks the theater premiere of David Fincher’s version of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.
To be honest though, the film did actually open on December 20 at some theaters. Well I guess 12.20 lacks the visual symmetry of 12.21 and wouldn’t have looked as good on the posters.
